Lady Lazarus West Coast Tour!

… PsyOps, o chicken little the sky! the sky!” - Anne Waldman, “Matriot Acts, Act I [History of Mankind]”
Hello, fellow space traveler & Lady Lazarus fan. I’ll be in my little rocket ship (ok, Saturn coupe, but rather quite appropriately named) starting today, Nov. 25 through Jan. 6, for my West Coast Tour. I’m traveling to spots major & minor in the great states of CA, OR, and WA, and will also be playing the FMLY Fests in late Dec. and early Jan. See all the dates & details, and take a peak at my tour poster that I’ll be giving away for free. If you can’t make a show, and would like a poster sent to you, I can definitely arrange that, too.
Some other exciting things have come up since I last wrote… In October, Graveface Records released The Marshmallow Ghosts’ debut full-length album/film, on which I contributed vocals. The Halloween-themed “super-group” consists of members of Black Moth Super Rainbow, Dreamend, Casket Girls, and Hospital Ships, and was a lot of fun to be on. You can check it out here. A lot of the songs/videos are also available to preview online—warning: some of the videos are pretty freaky and one is definitely NSFW. :)
In October, I also released a video for my song “What It’s Like” (which is safe for work). Pitchfork premiered it, and it was pretty fun because it showed up right next to the new video from Stephen Malkmus, who is kind of like one of my heroes. Score! ;)
I can’t thank you enough for all your love & support along the way, and wish you good health and happiness.
All my love,
Melissa
